Terms of Service

Last updated 24 October 2026

These terms apply to Dock Tempo software, licences and services sold at docktempo.com by Boost Solutions (“we”, “us”). By buying, downloading or using Dock Tempo you (“you”, the customer) agree to them on behalf of yourself and the organisation you represent.

1. The software and your licence

Dock Tempo consists of the Dock Tempo Pro and Dock Tempo Unloader WordPress plugins and related services. When you buy a plan we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the software on the number of sites your plan allows (each licence also covers one staging copy), for your own business operations. The plugins are distributed under the GNU General Public License where WordPress requires it; the licence key, updates, support and hosted services are what you pay for.

2. Plans, term and renewal

  • Plans are sold as annual subscriptions and renew automatically each year unless you cancel in My Account before the renewal date.
  • Your plan includes updates and support for the paid term. If you do not renew, the software keeps working with the features of your plan; updates and support stop.
  • A licence refunded or charged back is revoked and the software reverts to its unlicensed mode.
  • Prices are in US dollars unless quoted otherwise and exclude taxes that apply to you.

3. Free trial

A new install unlocks every feature for 14 days without payment. After the trial, unlicensed installs run with limited features as described on the pricing page. Your data is never deleted by the licensing system.

4. Your responsibilities

  • You run the WordPress site Dock Tempo is installed on, including hosting, security, backups, email delivery and the scheduled tasks (WP-Cron) Autopilot relies on.
  • You decide the booking rules Autopilot applies, and remain responsible for operational decisions at your site, including safety and compliance on the dock.
  • You are responsible for third-party services you connect, such as OpenAI (photo checks, AI review), Twilio (SMS) and AI assistants connected through the MCP server, and for their fees and terms.
  • You must have the right to process the personal data you enter (carriers, drivers, crew) and must tell those people how it is used.

5. Automation and AI

Autopilot and AI features act on rules and instructions you configure. AI output (damage checks, number reading, booking recommendations) can be wrong; keep human review where an error would matter. Every automatic decision is logged so it can be checked.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t resell, sublicense or share licence keys; don’t use Dock Tempo to break the law or to send unsolicited messages; don’t attempt to bypass licensing or overload our servers.

7. Support

Support is by email/contact form during Australian business hours. Priority support means your requests are answered first. Enterprise onboarding is scheduled with you after purchase.

8. Warranty and liability

We will fix defects in the software that we can reproduce. Otherwise the software is provided “as is” to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot be excluded. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the plan in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including detention charges, lost revenue or lost data.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; the version in force when you buy or renew applies to that term. Material changes will be emailed to customers.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
