Everything between “can I book a slot?” and “container’s empty”
Dock Tempo is two WordPress plugins that work as one system: Dock Tempo Pro for bookings, docks and the office, and the Dock Tempo Unloader for the crew on the dock.
A booking portal carriers actually use
Carriers and suppliers log in, pick a date and time and enter the container, seal, size, load type, pallets, cartons, PO and driver details. Dock Tempo assigns the first free dock, so nobody books a door that’s already taken.
- “My bookings” with quick date filters and self-cancel up to your cut-off (72 hours by default)
- When a time is full, carriers see the next free slots instead of a dead end
- Instant “booking received” email, confirmation email, and a reminder before the slot
- Admins add bookings directly, choose the dock and print a crew work order
- Booking IDs with your own prefix; company and phone auto-filled from the booker’s profile
Booking statuses
Every booking moves through the same, visible stages:
| Pending | Waiting for Autopilot or a person |
| Confirmed | Booker emailed; on the calendar |
| Checked in | Crew scanned the dock QR |
| In progress | Unloading, with breaks timed |
| Complete | Pickup-ready email sent |
| Delayed | Missed slot, booker chased |
See the whole yard at a glance
Calendar
Every dock and booking by day and week. Click to open, edit, confirm or cancel.
Live View wallboard
Put it on a TV in the office or the dock. Status, company, container, slot end, time so far, breaks, slot progress and time left for every dock, every 15 seconds. No login needed for a public wallboard page.
All Bookings
Filter by status and Today / This week / Last week / Next week / custom. Expand a row to see everything the crew entered.
Crew work orders
A print-ready page per booking for contract crews: dock, time, container, seal, load, counts and instructions. Deliberately no scannable QR, so it can’t be used to fake being on site.
Carrier scorecards
On-time, early, late, cancellations and average detention per carrier, rolled into a score Autopilot uses.
Configurable emails
Choose which fields go in each email and who else gets a copy, separately for the booker and your internal list.
The Unloader crew app
Crew scan the QR on the dock door, or look up a booking ID, container or dock number. No logins to remember. The app walks them through your process:
- Crew details and “is the container here yet?”, so waiting for a container is timed
- Pre-checks for roller door and forklift/MHE, with photos; a problem starts a chargeable-wait clock
- Start and finish forms you build yourself with drag and drop, including conditional questions
- AI photo damage checks, plus container and seal number reading matched to the booking
- Breaks pause the clock; resuming requires a fresh scan at the right dock
- SMS and email alerts for damage or major issues; a pickup-ready email when it’s done
The part that removes the admin
Rules-based auto-confirmation, next-free-slot offers, reminders, no-show handling and a daily digest, plus a REST API and an MCP server for AI assistants.
Autopilot
Confirms what fits your rules, holds the rest with a reason. Every decision is logged.
REST API
Docks, bookings, availability, statuses, exceptions and activity for your WMS, TMS or ERP.
MCP for AI
Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other assistants can work the yard through the same rules.
Yours, on your own site
Self-hosted
Runs in your WordPress. Your bookings, photos and carrier data stay on your server.
Roles built in
Carrier, Container Booker and Driver roles; only managers see contact details.
Mobile first
The crew form is built for phones on a loud dock: big buttons, your choice of font size.
Updates included
New versions arrive on the normal WordPress Updates screen while your plan is active.
