Privacy Policy
Last updated 24 October 2026
This policy explains how Boost Solutions handles personal information on docktempo.com and in our licensing and update services. It does not cover the data you store in your own Dock Tempo install: that stays on your server, and you control it.
What we collect
- Customers: name, company, work email, billing address and order details when you buy or start a trial. Card payments are handled by the payment provider; we never see full card numbers.
- Contact form: what you send us (name, email, company, message).
- Licensing and updates: your licence key, the web address of each site it is activated on, a random instance ID, and the plugin version, sent when a site activates, checks its licence daily or checks for updates.
- Website use: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages) kept for security and kept short-term.
What we do not collect
Bookings, carrier and driver details, crew names, photos and logs in your Dock Tempo install are not sent to us. If you turn on AI photo checks or AI review, the relevant photo or booking facts are sent from your site to OpenAI using your API key; if you turn on SMS alerts, messages go through your Twilio account. Those providers’ privacy terms apply.
How we use it
To provide and bill for your plan, validate licences and deliver updates, answer support requests, and send service emails (receipts, renewals, important product changes). We do not sell personal information. We send marketing email only if you opt in, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
Sharing
With service providers that run the store for us (hosting, email delivery, payment processing), under confidentiality obligations, and where the law requires it.
Storage and security
Our site and data are hosted in a secure data centre. Access is limited to staff who need it. We keep customer records for as long as you have an account and as required for tax law.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, subject to legal record-keeping. Use the contact form. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (or your local regulator).
Cookies
We use the cookies WordPress and WooCommerce need to run the store, log you in and keep your cart. We do not use advertising cookies.
